Kogarah City Council announces the City of Kogarah Art Prize, a new national prize for painting with $12,000 in prizes and an open theme. Kogarah Art Prize: $8,000 Acquisitive Place of Reeds Art Prize for a local artist: $2,000 Acquisitive with solo exhibition Commended and emerging artist prizes: $1,500 (total) Youth Art Prize for a Kogarah High School student: Years 11-12 - $300, Years 7-10 - $200 Entries received at Jubilee Community Centre on Wednesday 6 June 2012. Selected entries exhibited at the Kogarah Library and Cultural Centre from 26 June to 15 July 2012. Winners will be announced on Wednesday 27 June 2012.
