Previously known as the Heysen Prize for Landcape, The NORA HEYSEN CENTENARY ART PRIZE is to commemorate the life and work of artist Nora Heysen AM (1911-2003), daughter of landscape artist Sir Hans Heysen.
The $10,000 prize is open to all Australian artists, and will be awarded to a Still Life in any medium. Judge is eminent artist Margaret Woodward.
A People’s Choice prize of $1,000 also will be awarded.
