Must be over 18 and an Australian citizen or resident. Maximum 10 entries per person. Maximum size is 1.5 metres x 1.5 metres

Held in conjunction with the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize.In 2012 entrants are asked to interpret the theme Contemporary Life in Australia.
First prize in the Open section is $100,000
There is $10,000 awarded as 5 individual prizes of $2000 each.
Works go through a pre-selection process and 40 finalists will be chosen.
Open to both professional and amateur photographers aged over 18 years.
Selected works will tour around Australia.
Entrants to the Open Section are asked to interpret‚ Contemporary Life in Australia‚ with an emphasis on Australians going about their day-to-day lives within their environment.
