Details:
The purpose of this award is to encourage the development of successful models of industry practice in the Australian craft or design sector. Entrants need to demonstrate artistic excellence, a prototype and manufacturing plan that will lead to significant sales and a marketing plan designed to focus on identified markets that shows evidence of consumer demand.Selection is via the tender process.
Since it's inception in 2005, ten designers have received $30,000 each to develop their designs.
