Details:
This $5000 acquisitive prize will be awarded for a contemporary work of art. Entries must have been inspired by a happening or experience from the year preceding - a conceit. The artist may interpret the event in any medium of 2D format, illustrating the inspiration of the conceit in an accompanying 50 word statement.Works go through a pre-selection process and successful artists will be advised of their selection for the exhibition by Friday 15th July 2011. The list of successful artists will be posted on the website.
