The Flanagan Exhibition is held annually in the historic city of Ballarat and is one of regional Victoria’s finest exhibitions of contemporary art and features two major prizes:• The ‘Flanagan Acquisitive Art Prize’ - an open acquisitive award of $5000, named in recognition of Noel Flanagan AO, former Director and Curator of the Australian War Memorial; and
• The University of Ballarat Emerging Artist Prize - an emerging artist acquisitive prize of $1500 for artists making their way within the industry.
