Silk Cut Award, The
The main purpose of this award is to encourage the making and appreciation of lino cut prints. The major acquisitive prize is either a return airfare to Amsterdam plus 10 days accommodation valued at $10,000 plus $1000 in spending money OR a monetary prize of $8000.
Up to $5000 is also available for purchasing of works for the Silk Cut Foundation Collection.
Up to four acquisitive Silk Cut Student Awards will be presented. The winners will each receive a Silk Cut Award Trophy and Certificate. The First place winners school will receive  $2500 for their art department.
As of 2008 this award will be offered annually instead of biennially.

Outback Art Prize

Open to all Australian artists.
The acquisitive first prize is valued at $15,000. The selected winning work will be acquired by the Broken Hill Regional Art Gallery.
