Kings School Art Show, The
The award is a $15,000 acquisitive art prize. It is awarded to the painting judged the best contemporary representational painting, painted by an artist resident in Australia and represented by a commercial gallery. There are also over 700 paintings for sale.
The show is held in the last week of August.

Toowoomba Biennial Emerging Artists Award Exhibition

This $15,000 acquisitive biennial award and exhibition during even years in September. Next award in 2010.
Categories include:
painting, works on paper, photography, ceramics, and smaller scale sculptures.

Burnie Print Prize

Entry is by the submission of slides or CD images along with entry form and resume.

All works selected for the final exhibition are eligible for purchase through a $12,000 acquisitive Award for the winning entry.
An additional acquisition fund of up to $5000 is made available for the purchase of selected finalists' works for the permanent print collection at Burnie Regional Gallery.

Tom Malone Prize

This annual, acquisitive award for glass art is open to all Australian artists working in the glass medium and one of the most prestigious glass awards. $10,000 is awarded to the winner and their work then becomes part of the State Art Collection at the Art Gallery of Western Australia.
